WHO WE ARE
Do Good Today (DGT) is a registered non-profit organization supporting community members experiencing food and housing insecurity in Weber County, the ogden-area community and surrounding communities.
This outreach effort is driven entirely by community volunteerism and private donation.
* There is currently No Paid Staff.
Our Vision Statement
Do Good Today envisions Weber county and the Ogden-area community as a place where all residents are poverty-free and thriving.
Our History
In June of 2021, North Ogden residents Gary and Margaret Attebery had the opportunity to participate in an outreach to the unsheltered community in Salt Lake City. They were moved by the effort and realized that similar outreach was lacking in the Ogden-area community. This was the beginning of Do Good Today (DGT), an outreach organization that grew tremendously within its first year and a half!
What began as two family SUVs loaded with water, some canned food, hygiene items, and a few boxes of donated clothing has grown into an organization that has distributed over 30k lbs. of food and furnished 82 apartments in the first year. DGT has distributed 21 bikes to help our neighbors in need of transportation.
These efforts are made possible by thousands of hours of community volunteerism.
