Our Mission

Community volunteerism has always been very important to North Ogden residents, Gary and Margaret Attebery. In June of 2021, they had the opportunity to participate in an outreach to the unsheltered community in Salt Lake. They were moved by the effort and realized that similar outreach was lacking in their own Weber county community. This was the beginning of Do Good Today (DGT), an organization that 's grown tremendously within its first year and a half! 

What began as two family SUVs loaded up with water, canned food and hygiene items, and a few boxes of donated clothing, has grown into an organization that has distributed over 30k lbs of food, furnished over 800 apartments, distributed bikes to those in need of transportation get to work, and helped community members claim over $100k in missed stimulus payments.

This effort is made possible by thousands of hours of community volunteerism. 

Unfortunately, those thousands of hours are split between only a handful of reliable DGT volunteers. We are in desperate need of additional volunteers to continue to provide these services. The demand only grows, but our ability to help is limited. Can you help?
