Cindy is a realtor and tax preparer. With her background in tax preparation, she’s been able to file tax returns for the homeless and help them get stimulus checks they would not otherwise have received. She was so excited to help them obtain a total of over $100,000 in refunds as of June 1, 2023, with even more in process.
Debbie has been with "Do Good Today" since 2021. Her passion is helping others. And as the Children's Director for the "All for Kids" program, she coordinates donations to elementary schools and helps hundreds of children and expectant mothers. Debbie can't wait to see where this journey will lead her and loves spending time with her grandchildren and family in her spare time. She works very hard to help those in need. It's crucial to her that every child and even her grandchildren help to make this happen and learn to be loving, caring people.
Thank you for all your
support! She can't wait to see where this journey will lead us.
Gary and Margaret have always felt strongly about helping others. In June 2021, they saw firsthand the challenges facing their neighbors, struggling with food and housing insecurity.
In July 2021, their family started Do Good Today to help ease the burden of some of the most vulnerable people in the community.
Gary is Do Good Today's Executive Director. Remember:
"Teamwork makes
the DREAM WORK"!
"Do Good Today"!
Joey works full-time for Prevent Child Abuse Utah as a home visiting coordinator. Do Good Today has provided Joey an opportunity to put public health principles of prevention into practice and help improve the lives of many of our most vulnerable community members. She helps support DGT through the development of printed marketing materials as well as sorting and outreach.
Jo and her husband Craig are integral to Do Good Today's outreaches. They have spent countless hours sorting donations and delivering them to the park. Jo, especially, enjoys interacting with and helping our clients find needed items during the outreach.
Mindy is in charge of our Welcome Home program. In this capacity, she handles all the logistics for furnishing apartments for previously homeless clients in our community. She and the amazing people who donate furnishings have turned over 200 apartments into homes. With additional clients and no other organizations offering this service daily, our Welcome Home project continues to be an essential asset to our clients and community.
